Q: How much money does it cost to start a work at home business as an affiliate?
A: Actually, it doesn’t cost anything! The affiliate programs are almost always free and the information I provide on this site is free as well. You will eventually need your own computer, web hosting, a domain name and a website. If you have a tight budget you can use an old computer as long as it has Windows 95 or above for a PC and OS 8 for a Mac, you won’t need anything fancy to start out with. I will also cover more about free websites in the work from home, affiliate program, training section of this website.
Q: How much time does it take to start this work at home business opportunity as an affiliate?
A: You can be up and running with your work at home business within an hour, but it will probably take a couple of weeks to get everything just the way you want it and submit your site to the search engines. If you already have a website then it should take less than an hour to get signed up with the affiliates programs and put links on your site.
Q: Can I run an effective affiliates business from outside ths U.S.?
A: Yes! As far as I know you can live anywhere as long as you have a website.
Q: Does Affiliates Marketing Group charge anything for training and helping to sign me up with affiliate programs?
A: No! If you sign up from the Affiliate Links section of this site, you will be signed up under me in a 2 tier affiliate program and I will do everything I can to help you succeed. When you sign up under me, I will notice you in the stats for each one of the affiliates programs that you sign up for and if you fill out the form on the Contact Us page I will send you e-mails when I find out more information that will help your home business grow.
Q: Do I have to incorporate to run a home based affiliates business?
A: No! You can check with your local tax professional, but my CPA advised me to just use my own social security number because incorporating would only protect you from liability issues and you shouldn’t have to worry about that.
Q: Do I have to open a business bank account for my work at home affiliates business?
A: No! You can use a personal checking account. You will need a separate bank account to handle your business so you can keep your personal money separate from your business, but just get a personal account because the business accounts charge fees for everything they can think of.
